01 Who we are
PinPlay is a sports community app operated by MitoSyS Inc. This policy explains how we handle personal information when you use the app, this website and related support services. For privacy questions, contact anand@mitosysinc.com.
02 Information we collect
- Account and sign-in information: your email address, account identifier and information provided by your chosen sign-in provider. Email/password authentication is handled by Firebase Authentication; Google and Apple sign-in are handled through their respective services.
- Profile and preferences: details you provide, such as your name, display name, gender or pronouns, profile photo, age or date of birth, sports, skill levels and availability.
- Location: coordinates from your device when you allow location access, and locations you select for your profile, venues or play requests. We use these to support nearby discovery and game planning.
- Community activity: requests, invitations, participation, messages, posts, photos, comments, ratings, reports and feedback you submit.
- Technical information: device and push-notification identifiers, app or platform information, IP addresses, and service or security logs needed to deliver and troubleshoot the service.
- Support communications: the messages and account information you provide when you contact us.
03 How we use information
We use information to create and maintain accounts, show relevant players and venues, organize play requests, deliver messages and notifications, display community content, respond to support, handle reports, protect the service and investigate errors. Your information also helps us maintain account security and meet legal obligations.
04 What other users can see
Profile details, sports preferences and activity you share through public profiles, posts or play requests may be visible to other users. Messages and invitations are shared with their intended participants. Venue and game locations you choose can be visible with the relevant listing or request. Avoid sharing information in a public post or message that you do not want others to retain or share. Authorized service staff may access information when needed for support, safety and operation.
05 Service providers and disclosures
We use service providers to operate PinPlay, including Google Firebase for authentication and notifications, Apple and Google for their sign-in services, Mapbox for maps, and Amazon Web Services for hosting, storage and email delivery. These providers process information needed for their services under their own terms and privacy practices. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect people or the service, or in connection with a business transfer, subject to applicable law. We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising.
06 Your choices
You can edit profile details in the app, manage location, camera, photo and notification permissions in your device settings, and use the app’s report and block controls. Turning off a permission can limit the features that depend on it. Location-based features also use locations you select in the app. To request access, correction or deletion of personal information, contact us. We may verify that a request comes from the account owner.
07 Account deletion and retention
To delete your account, open Profile → Settings → Delete Account. You can also request assistance at anand@mitosysinc.com using the email associated with your account. We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service and for legitimate security, support and legal purposes. Account deletion removes the account and associated user data through our services. Limited records may need to be retained where legally required or necessary to address fraud, disputes or security; copies held by other users are outside our control. Contact us if you need help with a deletion request.
08 Storage and security
We use technical and organizational safeguards intended to protect information. No online service can guarantee absolute security. PinPlay and its providers may process information in the United States and other countries where they operate; local privacy protections may differ from those in your country.
09 Children
PinPlay is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information to PinPlay, contact us so we can investigate and address it. Where local law requires a higher age or parental permission, those requirements apply.
10 This website and policy updates
These public pages do not require an account. Hosting services may process request information such as IP addresses and access logs. Following a link to another service subjects your visit to that service’s own policies. We may update this policy as the service changes. The date above identifies the latest version; material changes will be communicated as required by law.
